Optoga was founded in Sweden in 2004 with a clear idea:
to make it easier for luminaire manufacturers to create better lighting products.

Curiosity, engineering and entrepreneurial thinking have shaped the company ever since. Today, we develop LED light engines and intelligent lighting solutions for customers around the world, combining proven technology with new possibilities in connected and system-ready lighting.

Optoga’s entire range is CE certified and tested in our factory. In addition, all ingredients are completely recyclable. All LED lamps are included in the segment’s most energy-efficient on the market.

Our latest IoT-enabled solutions take lighting beyond illumination. Integrated intelligence enables luminaires to monitor operating data, energy use and performance, while supporting advanced control through systems such as DALI and Casambi. This makes the luminaire a connected and valuable part of the smart building.

Optoga combines decades of experience in LED technology with specialist knowledge in light, optics, electronics, control and luminaire integration.

At the heart of our offering is the OptoDrive® platform. Seven product families developed in different sizes and configurations for a wide range of luminaires and applications. Selected solutions include intelligent control and IoT functionality, while dedicated variants are available for demanding medical and examination lighting.

Our expertise covers the complete development process, from engineering and adaptation to prototyping, testing and production.

Quality and compliance are integrated into the way we work. Our products are developed and tested in Sweden with relevant requirements for electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, photobiological safety and environmental compliance in mind.

Making luminaire development simpler

Developing a great luminaire requires many technologies to work together. Our job is to make the lighting part easier.

Optoga brings LED technology, optics, electronics and control together in solutions designed for integration. Instead of starting from scratch, manufacturers can build on proven OptoDrive® platforms and adapt them to the requirements of the luminaire.
