These light sources have a fully integrated driver so no extra cans or anything else is necessary, everything is connected with 230VAC. The light sources can of course be integrated on a small scale with a few products where DALI or Casambi is then supplemented with more units afterwards, or make a more complex installation with both Casambi, DALI and ordinary wired dimmers. All luminaires with these light sources have a simple integration of smart options.

Easy intergration

The smart devices come as a small “sugarcube” that can be integrated quickly and easily. Together we create simple and energy-efficient lighting fixtures for smart buildings. Many luminaire manufacturers already integrate and install these today as standard in their lighting luminaires. This means that you and your customers can easily handle the luminaires with wireless Bluetooth protocols such as Casambi or wired connections such as DALI and more together with other luminaire manufacturers.

The advantage is of course that the lighting fixture can easily be integrated into existing installations or work directly in new installations.

Technique

Why should the light source be dimmed in the lighting fixture? In fact, most units are technically dimmed already in the wall dimmer, which usually only works satisfactorily. The dimmer adjusts the sine wave of the voltage so that the amount of energy is reduced and thereby dimming the light source and with LEDs, this always creates some form of flicker (which is removed with the new technology). The advantage of transferring the dimming to the luminaire and these smart light sources is that then the sine curve is not adjusted and the dimming is done without flicker in a better way.

Of course, the lighting fixture can then be easily integrated into already existing installations or function directly in new installations with perfect results as a consequence.
