Mechanical design and integration
Sanna158 is a round LED light engine designed for luminaire integration in pendant and downlight applications. The module features a central opening for cable routing and defined connection points to support structured assembly. Depending on configuration, the module can be combined with control interfaces such as DALI, Casambi or equivalent systems. Variants for IoT-based applications include an electrically isolated thermal interface, supporting use in Class II luminaires.
Light quality and colour stability
The optical performance of Sanna158 is developed with emphasis on colour stability and maintained luminous flux over time. Binning, thermal behaviour and ageing characteristics are controlled to support predictable chromaticity under defined operating conditions. Measured colour stability data is provided for system-level evaluation.
Dimming and control behaviour
Sanna158 supports controlled dimming using phase-cut dimmers and digital control interfaces, depending on configuration. When operated with a DimIn module, dimming is achieved through highfrequency analog current regulation based on amplitude modulation, avoiding PWM and enabling low visible modulation and predictable electrical behaviour across the dimming range.
System compatibility and smart lighting
Sanna158 is designed for integration into professional lighting systems where interaction with building automation, energy management and documented control architectures is required.
